I suppose that you *COULD* have handled it in a more civil manner, but you were also justified...you are most certainly of an age where your privacy is sacrosanct. Plus, there's not much different that you really could have done, save for maybe open the door and give her a hug instead of a stink eye. Though I was really happy with your conclusion that this is not a regular occurance; I know many a person who has no regard whatsoever for causing their parents great anguish over petty things.
